About The Position

Venture Solutions is seeking an Equipment Operator to join its team in Fort Worth, Texas. The role prepares and operates printing press equipment according to job specifications and company quality standards and procedures. The operator performs routine equipment maintenance, prepares inks, verifies paper and plates, inspects printed forms for quality, and coordinates with the Production Team to meet job priorities and deadlines. The position is on second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
High degree of mechanical ability.
Good reading ability.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
Ability to remain in a stationary position regularly.
Ability to constantly operate machinery and handle products, including print materials.
Ability to move within the facility frequently.
Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry 25+ pounds.
Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate printing press equipment in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance to ensure optimum output.
Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity.
Check plates for correct format.
Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality.
Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, reorganizing when necessary to meet deadline changes and updates.
Maintain knowledge of job and equipment safety requirements.
