About The Position

We are looking for experienced Walkie Rider Operators to join the warehouse team. The role is responsible for safely operating an electric pallet jack (Walkie Rider) to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse. Previous Walkie Rider experience is required, and workers must pass a hands-on observation test before starting. Workers without verifiable Walkie Rider experience or who fail the observation test will not be approved to start.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Previous, verifiable Walkie Rider experience; applicants must pass a hands-on observation test before starting.
• Experience operating a Double Walkie Rider and/or pallet jack.
• Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack.

Nice To Haves

• Active certification in Double Walkie Rider and/or pallet jack operation.

Responsibilities

• Read production and delivery schedules and confer with supervisors to determine sorting and transfer procedures, pallet arrangements, and destinations.
• Perform general warehouse activities, including opening containers and crates, filling orders, assisting with inventory, and weighing and checking materials.
• Use scanning or other automated data-entry procedures, including imaging devices and document-imaging software.
• Learn and follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to materials for shipping using hand tools, power tools, or a postage meter.
• Remove completed or defective products or materials and place them on conveyors or in designated areas such as loading docks.
• Move materials over short distances within the warehouse or facility.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or transport vehicles.
• Safely operate an electric pallet jack (Walkie Rider) to transport materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload pallets from trucks, staging areas, and racking systems.
• Verify product and quantity accuracy during picking and staging.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with leads and supervisors.
• Apply shrink-wrap to pallets.
