Requirements
- Must comply with company drug and alcohol policy and pass any required physical exams.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (assistance recommended for heavier loads).
- Work extended hours on foot, including on uneven or rough surfaces.
- Climb ladders, kneel, crawl, or work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Must be able to hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment—including plows/trenchers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, and front-end loaders—safely and efficiently to support construction activities.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operation and report any issues or required repairs.
- Conduct basic maintenance on equipment such as greasing, lubrication, and fluid checks.
- Follow site-specific safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to meet project goals and schedules.
- Read and interpret grade stakes and project specifications as needed for accurate operation.
- Adapt to various weather conditions and physically demanding work environments.
- Work independently while maintaining a team-oriented, safety-focused mindset.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including labor tasks when equipment is not in use.
