About The Position

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Piledriverman for its Heavy Civil division in Jefferson, Louisiana. The role operates pile-driving equipment to construct foundations for heavy civil projects. The position requires experience with pile-driving equipment, interpreting construction plans, maintaining equipment, and following safety practices. Work includes physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and climbing, and may take place in various weather conditions.

Requirements

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Piledriverman in heavy civil construction.
Proven experience operating various types of pile-driving equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Strong understanding of construction safety practices and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb, and work in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver's license preferred.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate pile-driving equipment, including hydraulic hammers, vibratory hammers, and leads.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine pile locations and depths.
Assist with assembling, disassembling, and maintaining pile-driving equipment.
Set and align piles according to specifications, ensuring proper plumb and grade.
Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments during operations.
Communicate with crew members, supervisors, and other trades.
Follow safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate PPE.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to supervisors.
Participate in pre-job safety briefings and daily toolbox talks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
