About The Position

Interstate, a family-owned national janitorial and maintenance company, is seeking a self-motivated and reliable Equipment Operator to work at a client site. The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team. The role involves maintaining clean and safe facility environments and operating cleaning and warehouse equipment safely. The schedule is 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $16.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour incentive.

Requirements

• Be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience operating warehouse and cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can linings.
• Use appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Operate EPJ, scrubber, tugger, forklift, and baler correctly and safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
