About The Position

Interstate is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Equipment Operator to work at a client site. The position involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas, using cleaning chemicals and supplies according to procedure, and operating warehouse and cleaning equipment safely. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to contribute as part of a team. Other duties may be assigned, and the job specification may be modified to include related responsibilities.

The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Pay is $16.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour incentive.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience operating warehouse and cleaning equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, and disinfect bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Dust and wet mop floors.
• Remove trash and replace trash can linings.
• Use appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Operate EPJ, scrubber, tugger, forklift, and baler, handling all equipment correctly and safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
