About The Position

This position safely and efficiently operates forklifts and other powered material handling equipment (MHE) to move, stack, and pick or pull merchandise. Duties span warehousing operations as needed, including shipping, receiving, inventorying, product repackaging, palletizing, and equipment operation. The role follows prescribed work methods and OSHA standards and supports accurate, secure handling of inbound and outbound shipments.

Requirements

At least 6 months of verifiable work experience within the prior 36 months operating material handling equipment required by the role, such as a sit-down or stand-up forklift, reach truck, or cherry/order picker.
Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to carry and climb a ladder.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including at least 2 hours continuously, four times during an 8-hour day.
Ability to frequently twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch, and to use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with prescribed work methods and OSHA standards, including daily inspection and maintenance.
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using powered MHE with lifting devices.
Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
Stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy for loading and shipments.
Move products from staging or storage areas into trailers or containers.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Perform pick-and-pack, light assembly, labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
Maintain appropriate records and reports to support inventory control and security measures.
Assist with physical inventories as needed.
