About The Position

The Equipment Operator supports warehouse operations by assisting with order picking, let downs, replenishment, and other department needs. The role involves handling products for clients involved in the active lifestyle and operating warehouse equipment while carrying out receiving, replenishment, shipping, scanning, cycle counting, and general warehouse duties. Success depends on being reliable, accurate, and efficient; balancing quality and pace with safety; adapting to changing priorities; and treating coworkers with kindness and respect.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The starting pay is $21.00 per hour. The position is based at 16609 Slover Ave, Fontana, CA 92337. NRI is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of legally protected status.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of forklift experience using an order picker or cherry picker.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to learn the basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
• Trustworthy and moral character; pre-employment background and drug tests are used.
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders and stairs, working at heights in elevated areas, and tolerating dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, and cold.

Responsibilities

• Assist with order picking, let downs, and replenishment, and support departments in meeting their goals.
• Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, order/cherry pickers, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks.
• Perform receiving, replenishment, shipping, scanning, cycle counting, and other general warehouse duties.
• Follow NRI safety rules, safety procedures, security protocols, and standard operating procedures.
• Keep work and storage areas safe, clean, and tidy.
