About The Position
The Equipment Operator II assists the asphalt and bridge crew with various tasks while maintaining a safe working environment and operating heavy machinery. Duties include general labor such as raking and shoveling asphalt, tree trimming, road patching, and bridge repair.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, and three months of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Valid Class B CDL with tanker endorsement, or obtain the certification within 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the asphalt and bridge crew with general labor.
- Rake and shovel asphalt.
- Trim trees.
- Patch roads.
- Perform bridge repair.
- Operate heavy machinery while conducting a safe working environment.
