About The Position

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service company, is seeking Equipment Operators to perform a combination of skilled equipment operations, preventive maintenance, and manual labor tasks in roadway maintenance. Equipment Operations includes but is not limited to; backhoe, dump truck, loader, motor-grader, tractor/bush-hog, and similar equipment. This position also engages in the following: flag traffic, set up work zones and traffic control, cut brush, clean ditches/debris, patch potholes, and perform emergency roadway operations. This is to be accomplished on a routine basis as outlined in the following responsibilities: Knowledge of highway maintenance equipment, materials methods, and procedures. Able to perform heavy manual labor (carry 50 pounds 50 yards). Able to read and follow oral and written instructions. Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Skilled in the operation and maintenance of light, medium and heavy-duty equipment used for highway maintenance and repair. Any other duties as assigned by a supervisor and/or USF Senior Project Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or demonstrated equivalent experience or training
  • DOT medical card
  • Class B CDL at minimum
  • Ability to obtain Flagging Certification within 60 days of employment
  • Virginia Driver’s License in good standing
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Fingerprint based Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
  • Drug Screening
