About The Position
The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Equipment Operator II in the Sanitation Department. The incumbent performs skilled work in safely operating front-end loading sanitation equipment and/or over-the-road sanitation tractor-trailer equipment either on a commercial sanitation route or between the sanitary landfill and the transfer station.
Requirements
- High school or GED
- Previous experience in the operation of a front-end packer
- Previous experience in the operation of a tractor-trailer tandem
- Previous experience in the operation of a backhoe
- Valid Oklahoma Class "A" Commercial Driver's License
- Must meet City insurance standards
- Subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening

- Safely operating over-the-road sanitation tractor-trailer equipment on a commercial sanitation route
- Safely operating over-the-road sanitation tractor-trailer equipment between the sanitary landfill and the transfer station
