Operate equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. This position will work with excavators with rubber or steel track, equipped with hydraulically powered bucket to transport fill or materials. Requirements

Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
Must be reliable/have reliable transportation.
Ability to follow verbal directions from supervisors.
Familiarity with excavations and heavy lifting.
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Construction industry experience preferred.
Takes full ownership of assigned projects and can work independently.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
Work with excavators with rubber or steel track, equipped with hydraulically powered bucket to transport fill or materials.
Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
Operate company equipment safely.
Load trucks in a timely manner.
Excavate for various underground utilities at various depths and percentages of pitch.
Observe hand signals, grade stakes or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks & deliveries.
Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating equipment so that work can be performed in a safe and quality manner.
Stockpiling.
