This role involves assisting with the setup and operation of screen printing equipment for garments and apparel. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn the screen printing process. Requirements

  • Experience in a production-related environment preferred.
  • Interest in learning apparel screen printing and machine operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and job specifications closely.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including apparel, garments, inks, screens, and print materials.
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility.
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carrying.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Previous screen printing experience.
  • Experience working with garments, apparel, textiles, or decorated products.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as a tape measure and T-square.
  • Good color discernment.
  • Mechanical aptitude or previous machine operation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup of screen printing equipment according to job specifications and production requirements.
  • Support the operation of screen printing machines used to print on garments and apparel products such as shirts, shorts, pants, tank tops, tote bags, and similar items.
  • Prepare garments, screens, inks, and materials needed for production.
  • Help monitor print quality throughout the production run, including color accuracy, placement, registration, and overall appearance.
  • Assist with identifying print issues, color mismatches, screen concerns, or basic equipment issues and communicate them to the team.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition through a regular maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Accurately maintain a daily production sheet and properly log all production information and material into the Hagen system.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
