About The Position

The Equipment Operator position requires the ability to work up to 60 hours per week, including Saturdays, with potential for overtime. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are necessary if applicable to the role. Candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and pre-employment physical. This role involves significant physical demands, including the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, and requires extended periods of sitting, standing, and kneeling, as well as walking short distances. Operators must be able to repeatedly climb into and out of equipment using three points of contact, and possess full use of their hands and arms for operating controls and adjusting components. The job also entails bending, stooping, and crawling for inspections and cleaning, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Adequate vision and hearing are essential for safe operation. Frequent overhead arm use is required for tasks like cleaning and securing equipment. The role involves pulling ropes with up to 40 lbs of resistance and working in dusty environments with varying air quality. Operators must be able to perform visual checks by turning their upper body to identify blind spots.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in dusty environments and around varying air quality conditions.
• Must be able to perform visual checks by turning the upper body to look left, right, and behind in order to identify blind spots while operating equipment.
