About The Position

Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an Equipment Operator Assistant for their team in Bloomington, IL. This role involves assisting in the setup and operation of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently. The position also requires regular maintenance of equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and accurate record-keeping of production data.

Requirements

Experience in a production related environment preferred
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail and analytic problem-solving skills
Work well independently as well as in a team environment
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

Assisting in the setup of equipment to the specifications required, and operate the machine producing the best quality product possible in a productive manner.
Maintain the equipment in good working condition through a regular maintenance schedule.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Accurately maintain a daily production sheet and properly log all production information and material into the Hagen system.
