Requirements

3–5 years of experience repairing construction equipment or similar.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, gas and diesel systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
Ability to read service manuals, electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
Strong communication, organizational and customer-service skills.
Ability to complete electronic work orders using a computer, tablet or mobile device.
Must provide standard hand tools; specialty tools will be provided.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, gas and diesel systems.
Maintain and service equipment including skid steers, mini-excavators, telehandlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, UTVs, generators and small equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
Travel to job sites for service calls and field repairs.
Determine whether equipment is safe to return to service.
Complete work orders and electronic service documentation accurately and on time.
Communicate equipment status and repair requirements to Operations, Service teams and customers.
Maintain the assigned service vehicle, tools and equipment in a clean and professional condition.
Assist with parts and equipment pickup or delivery as required.
Follow company and job-site safety requirements.
