About The Position

The Equipment Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of our fleet: procurement, deployment, maintenance, tracking, and cost performance across all active projects and our shop operation. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, strategy, and field execution. You'll work alongside superintendents, project teams, shop technicians, and vendors to make sure the right equipment is in the right place, in the right condition, at the right time.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of equipment or fleet management experience in construction or a related industry
  • Strong working knowledge of heavy equipment, power tools, and construction machinery
  • Experience with maintenance programs, fleet tracking systems, and vendor negotiations
  • Comfort managing budgets and owning cost outcomes
  • CDL preferred; valid driver's license required
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed

Responsibilities

  • Fleet deployment and utilization across multiple active job sites
  • Preventative maintenance programs and repair coordination
  • Procurement, rental agreements, and vendor negotiations
  • Asset tracking, inventory control, and lifecycle management
  • Equipment and tools P&L, budgeting, and cost performance
  • Small tools program, inspections, certifications, and compliance
  • Leading and developing shop superintendents and mechanics
