About The Position

Boyd Jones Construction is seeking an Equipment Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of their fleet, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, tracking, and cost performance. This role is crucial for ensuring the right equipment is available at the right time and in the right condition for all active projects and shop operations. The Equipment Manager will collaborate with various teams and vendors, playing a key role at the intersection of operations, strategy, and field execution. This position offers a clear path into operations leadership within a values-driven organization.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of equipment or fleet management experience in construction or a related industry
  • Strong working knowledge of heavy equipment, power tools, and construction machinery
  • Experience with maintenance programs, fleet tracking systems, and vendor negotiations
  • Comfort managing budgets and owning cost outcomes
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
