About The Position
Achieve more with VOLT! Volt is immediately hiring for an Equipment Maintenance Technician II in Richardson, TX working in a semiconductor fabrication area. As an Equipment Maintenance Technician II you will: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor fabrication equipment Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool break downs Monitor and analyze all related tool data, make recommendations and improvements to maintenance procedures Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects Clearly communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings Provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shift This is a Full Time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Requirements
- Two years associate technical degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering or Military electronics technician training equivalent
- 1-5 years of experience preferred of troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated project management skills (tool upgrades, installation, decommissioning, development), problem solving ability and knowledge of SPC and how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment
- Able to interpret electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience on the following toolsets are preferred, but not required: ASML 400XT Scanners, ASML PAS5500, TEL ACT 8 and equipment
