We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke. This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. As an Equipment Logistics Technician, you’ll play an important role in supporting the care environment by maintaining medical devices and equipment, assisting with equipment development projects and contributing to the efficient operation of our facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure that essential equipment is available, functional and ready when needed. While you may not interact with patients directly, your work has a meaningful impact on their experience and care. Every task you complete helps our caregivers provide exceptional care making a difference for patients every day. A caregiver in this position works Wednesday—Saturday, 6:00am—4:30pm.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of Hospital Medical Device Logistics/Repair Experience OR additional experience in Hospital Operations, Logistics or related military training
  • Proficiency in web applications, databases, and spreadsheets

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree
  • Training in operations, lean/Six Sigma and/or process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Perform targets rounding in active patient areas to recover assets for processing and redistribution.
  • Deliver, triage and recover specified medical devices
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair specified medical devices.
  • Document work activity in an electronic database.
  • Assist with and/or leads special projects as designated.
  • Order supplies and ensure adherence to unit/department budget, as needed.
  • Stock patient rooms or deploy supplies for use, as needed.
