This team ensures that equipment, trucks, materials, and resources are in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost to support project execution. We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager with a strong logistics and heavy-equipment transportation background to lead equipment deployment, dispatch, utilization, vendor coordination, transportation planning, and fleet operations across multiple active construction projects. Summary: The Equipment Fleet Manager – Logistics & Operations is responsible for leading the logistical planning, coordination, deployment, transportation, utilization, and operational support of LEMOINE's company-owned and rented equipment fleet. This position serves as the central connection between the Equipment Department, project teams, Superintendents, Project Managers, equipment vendors, rental companies, heavy-haul transportation providers, mechanics, and field personnel. The Fleet Manager is responsible for ensuring equipment moves safely and efficiently between projects while maintaining visibility into equipment availability, utilization, transportation schedules, rental duration, maintenance needs, and operational costs. A major focus of this position is fleet logistics-planning equipment movements, coordinating heavy-haul transportation, managing dispatch activities, anticipating project equipment needs, reducing unnecessary equipment moves and rental costs, and ensuring project teams receive the equipment necessary to maintain production. The ideal candidate combines strong construction-equipment knowledge with logistics, dispatch, vendor-management, financial, and leadership experience.
