This role is for B SHIFT - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Alt Saturdays, 7PM-7AM. The Equipment Engineering Technician will maintain various wafer processing tools as directed by management, equipment engineers, and/or senior technicians. This includes coordinating and performing both reactive maintenance and scheduled preventive maintenance on various wafer and assembly processing tools to maintain optimal uptime, including all support equipment such as pumps, power supplies, and gas cabinets. The technician will track, record, and communicate progress of maintenance work, train and mentor new team members, and apply appropriate troubleshooting skills to repair common failures. They will also assist senior technicians and engineers in data collection to resolve recurring equipment issues, utilize training materials for personal improvement goals, participate in team meetings for continuous improvements, and attend vendor offsite training as required. The role involves being a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), collaborating with Process Engineering, Facilities, Test Engineering, and other departments, coordinating maintenance activities with EES management and engineers/technicians, and providing timely updates on equipment status to management and the Camstar System. Travel, both domestically and internationally, may be required.
