About The Position

The Engineering Technician B performs test and basic debug operations on a variety of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), circuit card assemblies (CCAs), and components. The role supports successful testing of L3 products for delivery or repair and reports directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor. The work is performed in a production environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary/associate education and 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of basic RF and digital signals.
• Knowledge of basic analog, digital, and RF circuitry.
• Comfort using PC-based applications.
• Basic experience using test equipment such as RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, voltage meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Department of Defense security clearance.
• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing and test.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated electronic testing in a production environment.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation in a production environment.
• Assist Test Engineering with trends, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Participate in process improvement activities in test and manufacturing.
• Follow L3Harris policies and procedures, including equipment calibration, ESD, FOD, and general housekeeping.
