Collaborate with Line Maintenance and Process Engineering to troubleshoot problems & support wafer manufacturing. Work with vendors and contractors to install, start up, and learn new semiconductor equipment. Support of Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment to improve throughput and reduce downtime including procurement, installation, upgrades, design modifications, troubleshooting failures, reducing operating costs. Conduct equipment failure analysis and review trends to make performance improvements. Troubleshoot and repair assigned equipment using troubleshooting techniques and hand tools. Regularly interface with Management, Production, Engineering, Quality Control, and other work groups for priorities and equipment status. Provide expert support to resolve unscheduled equipment down events. Promotes and adheres to all safety and cleanroom policies. Train maintenance technicians as needed on systems to improve 24x7 response time. Manage design decisions for installation of new semiconductor equipment within the cleanroom, including the routing of facility connections to the equipment Anticipating consumable part failures and ordering sufficient spare parts ahead of time Manage and plan the execution of scheduled and routine maintenance
