About The Position

RoadBuilders Machinery & Supply, a second-generation, family-owned heavy equipment dealership with over 40 years of history, is seeking a full-time Equipment Detailer to join their team in Springfield, MO. The Equipment Detailer will be responsible for cleaning and preparing heavy equipment for rental, sale, or demonstration, ensuring the yard is clean and organized, and adhering to all safety procedures.

Requirements

• Familiarity with operating construction/heavy equipment
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license, high school diploma (or equivalent), and ability to pass background, drug, and MVR checks
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and as part of a team when needed
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds

Responsibilities

• Complete machine inspections with proper documentation
• Cleaning all types of heavy equipment
• Help ensure equipment is fully prepared and ready for rental, sale, or demo
• Ensure the yard is clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures and policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
