About The Position

The Equipment Detailer is responsible for washing, cleaning, and detailing equipment. This role involves operating and maintaining vehicles, tools, and equipment used in the detailing process, as well as performing light maintenance on dealer-owned sales and rental equipment, and customer equipment. The position also includes delivering customer equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. A strong commitment to customer service and promoting the service department is expected.

Requirements

Ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in the machinery reconditioning and pre-delivery processes
Knowledge of using safety equipment required to complete tasks
Able to bend, lift and carry
Experience using standard desktop applications like Microsoft Office and internet applications
Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Maintains a tidy, professional personal appearance
Reports to work on time
Employs good time-management skills and has the ability to work independently
Demonstrates good work ethic
Communicates effectively one-on-one and in groups
Maintains positive, professional working relationships dealership wide
Works cooperatively with co-workers and management
Exhibits a constant commitment to customer service, promoting the dealership to customers
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Completes required training
Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products

Forklift experience preferred
