Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of advanced electronics training program
  • One to two years of experience in electronics testing and repair

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in operating electronic test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting purposes
  • Proficient in basic electronics repair
  • Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers, customers and management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide variety of tasks in the repair and maintenance of equipment including but not limited to ATMs, credit card terminals and PIN pads.
  • Troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts and repairs equipment, components, or devices.
  • Implements plans for preventative maintenance in order to provide maximum equipment performance.
  • Performs cost analysis to determine whether equipment repair is cost effective.
  • Works with schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions to make necessary repairs.
  • Plans and maintains spare part levels based upon anticipated work volume and customer requirements.
  • May provide on the job training and direction to less experienced technicians.
