As a G Class Equipment Delivery Driver, you’ll be the direct link between our branch team and our customers on-site. Your professionalism, reliability, and commitment to safe driving helps maintain and strengthen our long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Delivery Driving Experience: Experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites.
  • Customer Service Oriented: Excellent communication skills and a knack for making customers feel valued.
  • G Class Driver’s License: Full G Class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Safety Focused: Familiarity with safe driving practices and construction site. requirements.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • A Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with a keen sense of time-management and effective organizational skills.
  • Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with construction equipment and building products.
  • Endurance: Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly up to 50lbs.
  • Experience tying down and securing various types of loads safely and effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous roll-off truck experience is an asset.
  • Prior experience with both TRAC operation and Systematics would be considered an asset.
  • A technical understanding of CAT equipment would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver equipment safely and efficiently to customer job sites.
  • Load, unload, tie down, and secure all equipment and products in accordance with safety standards and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally on job sites.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with dispatch regarding schedules, delivery updates, and route changes.
  • Update driver log books and required documentation accurately and consistently.
  • Inspect loads and equipment during deliveries and report any damages or issues to the manager promptly.
  • Prepare for next-day deliveries by fueling trucks, washing vehicles when required, and pre-loading equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with the branch team to support daily operations and customer needs
  • Follow all workplace safety protocols and environmentally sound practices, making sure everyone stays safe.
