About The Position

REIC Rentals (Midway Rentals) is looking for an Equipment Delivery Driver - Class A CDL for our Whitefish store! Are you a Class A CDL driver with experience transporting equipment and delivering exceptional customer service? If so, join the team at REIC Rentals in Whitefish, MT! As an Equipment Delivery Driver, you will safely transport and deliver rental equipment to customer job sites while ensuring timely, professional, and safe service. This role is responsible for loading and unloading equipment, providing customers with a basic operational overview of delivered equipment, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Drivers play a key role in representing REIC Rentals by ensuring equipment arrives safely, efficiently, and ready for use.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL Driver's License required with manual transmission experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of CDL driving experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience hauling equipment, construction equipment, or oversized loads preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement practices.
  • Experience in construction or equipment rental industry preferred.
  • Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations: Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, Leaving the scene of an accident, Committing a felony with a motor vehicle, Reckless driving, Excessive speed.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Self-starter motivated to provide exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds for short periods, often several times per day.
  • Ability to safely climb on and off trailers and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transporting and delivering rental equipment to customer locations.
  • Loading, securing, and unloading equipment in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
  • Conducting and documenting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Demonstrating proper operation and safety procedures for delivered equipment.
  • Inspecting equipment upon delivery and pickup and documenting any damage or maintenance concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and communication with dispatch and store personnel.
  • Ensuring trucks, trailers, and transport equipment remain clean and properly maintained.
  • Observing and reporting mechanical or safety issues promptly.
  • Maintaining all required certifications, inspections, and medical compliance.
