About The Position

This position is responsible for implementing and supporting the successful adoption and implementation of identified EMR software throughout the organization. The specialist will also provide training to all current and new employees regarding the identified software and create and maintain various reports for the organization. Greater Family Health is a multi-site federally qualified health center providing comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health services within the Chicagoland area, with a mission to provide quality, affordable health care for all. The organization is Joint Commission Accredited and PCMH Certified.

Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.
• Excellent communication, including writing skills required.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to effectively use various software programs required.
• Ability to use technical skills and apply knowledge necessary for this position.
• Ability to work late evening hours.
• Ability to work some weekend hours.
• Pleasant disposition and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in related field is preferred
• 2-4 years’ experience working in a Community Health Center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in on-site go-live support process and post- implementation phase.
• Create and maintain various reports for the organization.
• Coordinates and provides all EHR training for new and current employees.
• Provides issue resolution support.
• Timely and accurately manage provider schedules in the EPM software.
• Reports to all scheduled work sites and shifts on time and fully prepared to engage in all job responsibilities; location of work sites and shifts will change at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Engages in all offered trainings, consultations and supervisions made available.
• Fully and professionally responds to and implements directives and advice offered by all supervisory and training personnel, as well as professionally offered feedback from coworkers.
