About The Position

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is a non-profit corporation that provides culturally sensitive health care to the American Indian population. OKCIC services include not only basic medical care but also dental, optometry, behavioral health, fitness, nutrition, and other family programs. The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is implementing Epic, and we're seeking an experienced Epic Willow Ambulatory Application Analyst to help design, configure, and optimize the pharmacy technology supporting our outpatient pharmacy operations. In this role, you'll collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, providers, finance teams, and operational leaders to build workflows that improve medication safety, streamline pharmacy operations, optimize inventory management, and enhance the patient experience. Requirements

  • Must align with OKCIC vision, mission, and core values
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Pharmacy, Health Informatics, Healthcare Information Technology, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related clinical or technical field required. An equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience may be substituted, with one (1) year of additional relevant experience accepted in lieu of each year of required education.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience supporting healthcare information technology, electronic health records (EHR), pharmacy information systems, medication management applications, or enterprise healthcare applications required.
  • Candidates must successfully pass the Epic Sphinx Assessment as part of the interview and selection process to be eligible for employment in this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience configuring, implementing, testing, supporting, or optimizing Epic Willow Ambulatory or other pharmacy information systems is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting outpatient pharmacy operations, medication management, inventory management, electronic prescribing, formulary management, pharmacy billing, or pharmacy workflow optimization preferred.
  • Working knowledge of outpatient pharmacy operations, medication dispensing processes, pharmacy inventory management, regulatory requirements, medication safety standards, and healthcare technology best practices preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical and operational workflows, translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshoot application issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, providers, operational leaders, finance staff, and technical stakeholders.
  • Epic certification, accreditation, or proficiency in Willow Ambulatory or assigned application(s) preferred. Certification may be required based on the assigned application or role responsibilities.
  • Current pharmacist or pharmacy technician licensure may be preferred or required for certain analyst assignments based on application responsibilities.
  • Other clinical, technical, or professional certifications may be required based on assigned responsibilities.
  • Must maintain all required certifications, credentials, and continuing education applicable to the position throughout employment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Willow Ambulatory software for retail/outpatient pharmacy workflows, dispensing, and prescription labeling
  • Set up and test the Inventory Supply Tracking system for pharmacy supplies, assuming no specialty pharmacy services
  • Build and monitor electronic prescribing (e-prescribing) interfaces, drug database integrations, and medication cross-mapping rules
  • Collaborate with financial teams to maintain pharmacy formulary charging, pricing matrices, and charge router accuracy
  • Execute integrated testing scripts to validate pharmacy ordering workflows alongside outpatient clinical and billing modules
