The Epic IT Capability team delivers system build, configuration, and ongoing support for multiple Market Performance Partners (MPPs) within the Optum Insight Information Technology organization. The team is responsible for supporting Epic Patient Access applications, including registration, scheduling, admission, transfer, and discharge, ensuring system functionality aligns with operational, regulatory, and business requirements. As a System Management Analyst on the Patient Access team, this role partners with vendors, technical teams, and operational stakeholders to analyze existing Epic system configurations, gather and document business requirements, and design new or enhance Epic build to optimize, standardize, and automate workflows in support of operational needs. The analyst plays a key role in the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Epic solutions for Optum IT capability. Solid expertise in Epic, workflow analysis, and problem-solving is essential to the success of enterprise EHR initiatives. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
