About The Position

This role supports the Epic Willow (Pharmacy Module) and Willow Inventory for Bassett Healthcare Network. The analyst will be responsible for medication record build (ERX), order set build, and designing, developing, and maintaining the pharmacy-related components of Epic. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. For hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, working in the office a minimum of four days per week is required. Requirements

  • Epic Willow Inventory Certification
  • 2+ years of experience collaborating with end users to design Epic Inpatient Willow workflows by suggesting corrective adjustments or enhancements.
  • Experience leading all phases (e.g., design, build and testing) of small to medium size application projects including Epic software upgrades, adoption of new Epic functionality and/or significant enhancements to integrated workflows.
  • Willingness to work 8-430 EST daily.
  • Adherence to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy for remote employees.

Responsibilities

  • Epic application design, development, and maintenance activities of applications under direct purview.
  • Collaborate with end users to design Epic Inpatient Willow workflows by suggesting corrective adjustments or enhancements.
  • Serve as a mentor, resource, and primary advisor for team members.
  • Lead all phases (e.g., design, build and testing) of small to medium size application projects including Epic software upgrades, adoption of new Epic functionality and/or significant enhancements to integrated workflows.
  • Update and maintain Inventory locations based on ticket requests.
  • Manage Lot Manager.
  • Build PRD Records as necessary.
  • Build ERX records, including CNRs (Compounding and Repackaging).
  • Support CoverMyMeds and SureScripts.
  • Modify/build order sets.
  • Build OPAs.
  • Manage Epic/Willow Security.
  • Troubleshoot various pharmacy issues, including problems in dispensing.
  • Perform Monthly FDB Med loads (Potential back up).
  • Perform Quarterly cost and HCPCs updates (Potential Back up).
  • Perform Monthly Cardinal GPO Cost Loads.
  • Support Monthly 340B build and Cardinal Cost Loads (maintenance mode).
  • Manage Billing Error Queues.
  • Provide Medication Charging expertise.
