About The Position

The Epic Analyst - ClinDoc & Stork will serve as the primary support contact for application end-users, addressing and resolving issues. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance application performance and user experience, guiding workflow design, system build, and testing, and managing technical challenges related to Epic software. The analyst will act as a liaison between end-users, Epic implementation staff, and business stakeholders to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements. Responsibilities also include maintaining communication with Epic representatives, participating in project meetings, understanding operational needs through engagement with the business community, leading training initiatives, and troubleshooting problems. Regular reviews of project status and issues with leadership are expected, along with conducting weekly team meetings to discuss deliverables, issues, user concerns, budget, and milestones.

Requirements

  • Clinical operations experience
  • Epic end-user or application support experience
  • Experience supporting clinical applications or healthcare environments.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Epic certification is preferred.
  • Some Epic application analyst roles may require a RN, Pharm. D., Licensed Medical Technologist, or other clinical certification depending on the areas supported.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives and participate in weekly project team meetings.
  • Engage with the business community and end-users to understand operational needs and direct workflow configurations.
  • Lead training initiatives and support end-users with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Consistently review project status and issues with leadership, ensuring project deliverables and timelines are met.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss project deliverables, shared issues, user concerns, budget, and milestones.
