The Application System Analyst II serves as a liaison between system end-users (customers), operational leaders, additional support resources, and vendors to design, build, and optimize assigned applications in a timely and high-quality manner. The role provides application support and optimization and works closely with the Service Desk to respond to service requests. The analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements, issues, and workflows and applying application knowledge to meet organizational and operational needs. Responsibilities include contributing to analysis, testing, documentation, and implementation of medium to high complexity software projects. The role requires strong healthcare systems knowledge and the ability to work with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills and works effectively in team environments.
