About The Position

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has immediate openings in its Chicago and Southern Illinois offices within its Environmental/Toxic Tort Litigation Practice Group. We are seeking multiple highly motivated attorneys with 2-6 years’ experience and welcome all levels of experience to apply. Candidates must possess a strong analytical ability, have excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to client service. Additionally, candidates must have a positive attitude, outstanding work ethic, as well as the ability to work productively in both independent and team environments. This is a hit-the-ground-running opportunity where the candidate will receive immediate meaningful litigation experience. Responsibilities

  • Performing legal research
  • Drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and client correspondence
  • Attending court conferences
  • Handling investigations
  • Handling discovery, including depositions
  • Handling appearances at hearings, depositions, and trials
