About The Position

Serve as a technical resource to the Exploration team by providing guidance and assistance to the field and coordinating programs to validate compliance with environmental regulations. The role supports environmental compliance across field activities and represents ConocoPhillips in agency inspections.

The position is located at 700 G Street, Alpine, Alaska, and follows a 14-days-on/14-days-off schedule with 12-hour days. The listed target start date is 10/21/26, and the end date is 4/18/27.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Alaska environmental compliance, including spills, waste, water use, drinking water, land issues, permitting, field monitoring/study design, wildlife, and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental guidance on waste disposal and material reuse, waste minimization, wildlife, land, water quality, water use, spill reporting and prevention, and other field environmental issues as required.
• Identify environmental risks, issues, and mitigation strategies, and communicate with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE).
• Assess field activities through onsite audits and site visits to validate environmental compliance.
• Represent ConocoPhillips during agency inspections.
• Maintain contacts and working relationships with local, state, and federal agency personnel.
