About The Position
Responsible for providing cleaning services in assigned casino areas. This role involves cleaning all assigned public casino areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the entire resort complex on a continual basis. The position requires ensuring that all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are used per manufacturer’s instructions, and maintaining all work areas to ensure environmental services equipment is free of safety violations. The employee must report any hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to management and comply with established safety precautions. Additionally, the role requires ensuring compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations. Providing outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members is essential, meeting the company’s guest service culture standards. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- Ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Availability to work all shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stressful situations.
- Must be at least 18 years old to work on the gaming floor inside the casino.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
- Ability to verify the right to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of three to six months of housekeeping experience preferred.
