The Environmental Services Technician is a member of the City of Hope Environmental Services team and is responsible for performing established cleaning procedures to provide non-clinical sanitation support throughout assigned hospital areas. This role operates equipment and utilizes appropriate tools, products, and supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing assigned areas
• Cleaning furniture, fixtures, and other common surfaces
• Emptying trash and disposing of waste appropriately
• Maintaining patient rooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
• Following infection prevention, safety, and environmental standards
• Supporting a positive patient and visitor experience through excellent customer service
