About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician performs cleaning duties in Administration, patient care areas, public areas, and supply and storage rooms. The role also ensures proper disposal of solid and infectious waste and orders cleaning supplies, paper products, and plastic liners as needed for the assigned work area. The employee works under the supervision of the coordinator and/or Unit Leader and performs other duties as assigned to help the department meet its responsibilities to patients, customers, and the Hospital Mission. This is a full-time, second-shift position, scheduled for 80 hours every two weeks, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• Must have full body range of motion.
• Must occasionally be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
