About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician maintains a clean work environment in assigned areas of OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and the lobby. The role also supports a safe environment and replenishes supplies. This is a per diem position in Dublin, Ohio, paying $17.50 per hour. The hospital provides an extensive orientation program and notes that strong performance may lead to potential full-time opportunities. Part-time and per-diem employees may qualify for 401(k) benefits after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or a subsequent calendar year.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital environmental services (EVS) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and the lobby.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor or the appropriate department.
• Replenish supplies, including soap, towels, toilet tissue, and other disposable items.
