About The Position

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is hiring an Environmental Services Technician in Dublin, Ohio. This per diem role helps maintain a clean and safe environment in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving people with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. The position pays $17.50 per hour.

The hospital provides an extensive orientation program and the opportunity for advancement, including potential full-time opportunities. Part-time and per diem employees may be eligible for a 401(k) after reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or a subsequent calendar year.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital environmental services (EVS) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurses’ stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and the lobby.
• Help maintain a safe environment by immediately reporting unsafe conditions to a supervisor or appropriate department.
• Replenish supplies, including soap, towels, toilet tissue, and other disposable items.
