About The Position
Shriners Children’s is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) to perform a variety of custodial and housekeeping duties. This role is responsible for maintaining desired standards of cleanliness and sanitation, leading cleaning activities in assigned areas, and participating in staff development and training within the department. This is a per diem position with variable hours and schedules based on departmental needs. Requirements
- Performs a variety of custodial and housekeeping duties.
- Maintains desired standards of cleanliness, sanitation and appearance.
- Leads cleaning activities in assigned areas.
- Participates in staff development and training within the department.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of EVS experience
- High School Diploma/GED
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the disinfection of routine & terminal cleaning in areas assigned.
- Practices universal precautions and dispose of infectious waste according to approved standards.
- Disposes of trash, washes and relines trash container.
- Disinfects and cleans sinks and plumbing fixtures.
- Replaces paper and hand hygiene products.
- Checks supplies daily and replaces as needed.
