About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician, working the 1st shift, is responsible for performing cleaning duties in various areas including Administration, patient care areas, public areas, and supply/storage rooms. This role also involves assuring the proper disposal of both solid and infectious waste. The technician will order cleaning supplies, paper products, and plastic liners as needed for their assigned work area. They will perform all other duties assigned to ensure the department meets its responsibilities to the patient, customer, and Hospital Mission.

Requirements

• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• Full body range of motion.
• Occasionally must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
