Following a major expansion, Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley's capacity tripled, now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. As our Environmental Services Technician, you will maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors, strictly following established departmental procedures and standards. Every day you will perform cleaning duties with meticulous attention to detail, ensure all areas meet hygiene and safety requirements, and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and other staff members. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong work ethic, thorough attention to cleanliness and safety, and excellent customer service skills, contributing to a secure and welcoming hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform 6 step daily cleaning procedure in patient room to a level acceptable to the patient.
- Perform checkout cleaning procedure in patient room according to departmental policies and procedures, including medical equipment.
- Perform intensive cleaning procedures in specialty areas such as Emergency Department, Surgery and Pharmacy to a level acceptable that eliminates the risk of infection to the patient.
- Removes and transports soiled linens, trash, infectious waste and recycling according to departmental policy and procedures.
- Prioritize assisting customers above all other duties.
- When cleaning an occupied room the Environmental Services Worker will follow organizational customer service script.
