About The Position

The Environmental Services Supervisor directs daily operational activities in the Environmental Services department at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), ensuring quality standards are met through daily rounds, signed inspection reports, and prompt, safe, and efficient responses to service and customer requests. The supervisor oversees department operations in the Operations Manager’s absence.

The EVS department supports 24/7 hospital operations in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. Its work focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and healing environment through infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and service excellence at Florida’s only Level I Trauma Center.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five or more years of directly related work experience; an associate’s degree may substitute for two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• DOT Certificate is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) certification.
• Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician (CSCT) certification.
