About The Position

Acts as a working lead person for a crew of clients performing on or off-site environmental services. Supervises, through environmental aide any assigned custodial crews or lawn care crews.

Requirements

Working knowledge of custodial and lawn care practices and equipment
Working knowledge of principles of supervising disabled adults in a work environment
Ability to supervise other aides
Ability to direct the work of assigned crews
Ability to keep records and make reports as necessary
Physical condition to commensurate with the demands of the job
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of custodial and lawn care experience

Responsibilities

Directs the activities of client workers assigned to the crew, ensuring that proper custodial or lawn care procedures are followed.
Acts as first-line customer contact to assure that all customer’s needs are met.
Directs the daily activities of any assigned sides and their crews.
Orders supplies as needed and maintains proper records of such.
Consults with Environmental Services Coordinator concerning performance and operations problems.
Consults with clients’ case managers regularly concerning client problems and progress.
Implements and monitors client behavioral modification plans when necessary.
Participates in regular client reviews with clients and case managers.
Participates in evaluation of hourly paid clients to determine commensurate wage.
Records production payroll into the system so that clients are paid correctly.
Responsible for the location of all assigned clients during work hours including breaks and specific lunch periods.
Performs other duties as required.
