About The Position

Lifespace Communities is hiring an Environmental Services Supervisor for its Environmental Services team at GreenFields of Geneva in Geneva, Illinois. The role oversees daily quality assurance, departmental schedules and procedures, team training, equipment and supplies, and cleaning projects to help maintain high standards throughout the community.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Three to five years of applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
State-issued driver’s license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily quality assurance inspections in the health center, apartments, guest rooms, and common areas, and promptly address work that does not meet standards.
Inspect guest rooms regularly to ensure cleanliness and an excellent appearance, and communicate needed improvements to the director.
Inspect newly occupied apartments for cleaning quality.
Coordinate and assist with room transfers in health care areas.
Coordinate spring cleaning projects.
Coordinate the department’s work schedules and procedures.
Ensure department team members complete annual training on equipment, chemicals, and community policies and procedures, and document completed training on forms.
Inspect equipment daily for repair and maintenance needs and for cleanliness and safety.
Monitor supplies and equipment used in daily department operations.
Conduct monthly chemical, supply, and equipment inventories, and order needed items within the maintained budget.
