About The Position

In this role you will supervise and coordinate daily activities of EVS staff, including scheduling, task assignments, and performance monitoring. You will ensure all patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces meet cleanliness and sanitation standards. You will enforce infection control policies and procedures, including proper cleaning and disinfection practices. You will conduct routine inspections and quality assurance audits of assigned areas. You will train, mentor, and evaluate EVS staff; provide coaching and corrective action when needed. You will collaborate with nursing, infection prevention, and other departments to support patient care goals. You will monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order and maintain adequate stock levels. You will ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of EVS equipment and chemicals. You will respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs, spills, or infection control concerns. You will maintain compliance with regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA, CDC, Joint Commission). You will assist in developing and implementing departmental policies and process improvements. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3-5 years of environmental services or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Certification from the National Executive Housekeepers Association (NEHA) preferred
