About The Position

The Environmental Services Supervisor maintains a high-quality standard in housekeeping services by training, supervising, and motivating the staff to ensure all schedules are completed. This role involves supervising the daily operations and employees in the assigned work unit, which may include handling, transportation, access to, and/or contact with medications and related supplies. The supervisor prioritizes workload, instructs and trains employees, completes performance evaluations, serves as a liaison with departments, and addresses employee performance issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor
• Previous work experience in facility floor plan and storage areas
• Previous work experience in 7-Step cleaning procedures
• Previous work experience in floor cleaning procedures
• Previous work experience in battery operated equipment cleaning procedures
• Previous work experience in spray buffing
• Previous work experience in carpet shampooing
• Previous work experience in wall washing
• Previous work experience in commercial vacuum operations
• Previous work experience in chemical use and dilution rates
• Must possess reading and writing skills
• Must comprehend and communicate in English

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent
